Sisterhood
Through social, cultural and professional development activities the chapter focuses on creating a sisterhood between Boston area Spelman alumnae. We additionally host events for alumnae friends and family as well as engage in community activities to help build a sisterhood amongst Boston area girls.
Scholarship
As an outstanding historically Black college for women, Spelman promotes the intellectual, ethical, and leadership potential of its students. The chapter hopes to solidify a "big sister" role to entering and current Spelman women by providing a support system, care packages, and financial support that can help students excel academically and become professional and community leaders.
Service
Spelman College focuses on developing servant leaders regardless of its graduates chosen career path. The chapter embodies this tradition through mentoring, hosting a middle & high school girls conference, and participating in a variety of service organizations and events across the City of Boston.
Fundraising
In order to support the chapter's sisterhood, scholarship, and service programming the chapter hosts two primary fundraising events throughout the year: the Speed Dating Soiree and Indigo Art Auction.
