Through social, cultural and professional development activities the chapter focuses on creating a sisterhood between Boston area Spelman alumnae.  We additionally host events for alumnae friends and family as well as engage in community activities to help build a sisterhood amongst Boston area girls.

Founders Day Celebration

The chapter typically hosts a weekend of events in honor of Spelman's Founders Day.  In the past, the chapter has served lunch at Rosie's Place and dinner at Pine Street Inn and hosted fundraising parties.  An annual highlight of the weekend is church at a location in connection with Spelman or Morehouse. 

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Building on a national alumnae association tradition, the chapter has hosted a breakfast at Tiffany's in honor of Founder's Day where local alumnae have been awarded for their achievements. Tiffany's has been a great partner to the chapter, providing us with awards and raffle prizes year round.
