June 2022 GirlTrek Walking Challenge
For the month of June NAASC Boston is joining GirlTrek for the Jumpstart walking challenge! GirlTrek is the largest nonprofit for Black Women's wellness primarily through walking campaigns and promoting health justice. For this month we want to encourage the healthy practice of movement through walking. Send us pictures or videos of your walks and help us inspire our other Spelman sisters to walk. Attached is the list of walks to complete this month. The goal is 21 walks in 30 days.
3 Takeaways
1. Goal: 21 walks in 30 days
2. At least 30min per walk
3. Share your walk with us to share on our social media! Email [email protected]. In your email include pictures/videos, class year, and a note about your walk (e.g. which walk you completed, which trail you did, distance walked, something interesting you saw, etc.). We will only refer to you as your first name and last initial or anonymously upon request. Example: ' "3.2 miles on a wooded trail? Check!" Amirah A. C'2019'

The Boston Area Chapter of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College hopes to help fill in these gaps by supporting two $500 Book Award Scholarships to entering Freshwomen from the Boston area.
$18.81 Spelman's Birth Year
$56.00 Spelman's 75th Birthday
$141.00 How old are you Spelman?
